Thanks also to Gary Fraser for allowing his Mothers & Daughters Portraits to hang just a little longer and to Flora Doehler for loaning a large painting and for sharing her photos, as always. (Jon was too busy behind the counter and Erin was too busy corralling toddlers into bed.)

A little bit of rain and suddenly, overnight, there was a leaf explosion in the backyard.

Being market vendors, spring is really heralded by the first outdoor market of the year (Saturday May 19th, Annapolis Royal). With this fast approaching summer dreaming starts to take over, knowing full well that there are never enough weekends for all the adventures I would like to take myself on. But here’s to trying!

Starting Saturday May 19th Sissiboo Coffee Roaster will be at our spot at the outdoor Annapolis Royal Farmers and Traders Market. Ready to serve you by 7:30 am.

Starting Sunday May 2oth Sissiboo Coffee Roaster will be at our spot at the Bear River Farmers and Artists Market, on the waterfront from 1 – 4 pm. Grab a early afternoon java and enjoy a spectacular view and fantastic live music.

Sissiboo Coffee has a new look but the same great taste!

We now package in 1 lb. bags that are fully compostable and certified under Fair Trade International. We still believe in the power of the single origin but instead of identifying our beans by country of origin, we now identify our roasts by one of six commissioned lino-cut prints by artist and dear friend Tia McLennan.
